Learning Objectives
This course is intended for practicing radiologists, medical professionals such as nurses and radiologic technologists, physician's assistants, industry professionals, and any others involved with the field of Breast MRI.
Statement of Need
MRI has become an increasingly influential adjunct to mammography and ultrasound in detecting breast cancer. MRI is now being used to grade biopsies and stage its patients. Studies have shown that Breast MRI, especially in high risk patients is proving to be an important tool for breast cancer screening. While breast MRI is catching on, its utilization is just beginning, primarily because the exam is more complicated, time-consuming and expensive. This course will provide critical education for utilizing and optimizing Breast MR in your practice.
